It is a four-year undergraduate pharmacy programme (split into eight semesters). B.Pharma Course is tailored to those who want to pursue a career in medicine or a related field. It is held on an annual and semester-by-semester basis. Students must have finished their 10+2 in the science stream to be eligible to enrol for this programme (PCB). To be admitted to this programme, students must additionally pass an entrance exam. A lateral entrance method is also possible. In many countries, this degree is required to become a pharmacist; however, in India, a Diploma in Pharmacy can be obtained and a pharmacist can still practise.
